AI Policy
AI Policy
I use some artificial intelligence (AI) tools to run the Blue Mountains Tinnitus Clinic. This page explains how I use them and how I protect your information.
How I use AI
I use AI tools to help draft outlines and edit general content, such as website pages, articles, newsletters and educational resources. I review, re-write, edit and check every piece before it's published. I am responsible for everything on this website, and the clinical information reflects my own training and the current research evidence.
How I don't use AI
AI does not assess you, diagnose you or make decisions about your treatment. Your assessment, formulation and treatment plan come from me, using my clinical judgement as an audiologist and counsellor.
Your personal information
I do not enter your name, health information or any details that could identify you into AI tools. Your clinical records are kept in Cliniko, my secure practice management system, and handled in line with my [Privacy Policy] and the Australian Privacy Principles.
[If you ever use an AI note-taking or transcription tool in sessions, add: I will always ask for your consent first, and you can say no without it affecting your care.]
